HRStreamer is a range of highly sensitive single and multichannel marine towed streamers, specifically designed for high resolution and ultra-high-resolution engineering marine seismic applications.
Geodevice have developed a unique type of single-channel streamers with adjustable group length by combining all groups together results in an equivalent single group length to increase the signal-to-noise ratio. Typically, the group length of single-channel marine streamers is fixed and designed for operations in the specific water depth range – the deeper water depth, the longer group is used to increase the signal level. Long groups can hardly be used for shallow-water acquisitions due to their directivity pattern, which results in filtering out high-frequency energy. They were able to overcome this issue by placing up to 4 groups with variable length, making the HRStreamer a universal solution for acquisitions in wide water depth ranges.
Multichannel HRStreamer is an easy to operate hydrophone array with up to 48 channels. Different group intervals are available such as standard spacings of 1 m, 2 m, 3.125 m, 6.25 m or a combination of mixed hydrophone spacing in one streamer. Mixed hydrophone spacing of 1 and 2 meters provides a good trade-off between streamer length and trace density in the upper part of the section.
All hydrophones are protected from acceleration to ensure the lowest noise level, resulting in high-quality seismic images.
HRStreamer is suited for all types of modern high-resolution acquisition techniques, including conventional surveys with optimal towing depth and slanted cable registration. Maximum allowable working pressure of 40 atm also allows using of HRStreamer for deep towed marine acquisition surveys. High accuracy depth control sensors, distributed along the receiver array provide exact measurements of streamer towing depth in real-time to meet your acquisition expectations.
