Pike-D Seismic Gun

The Pike-D is an efficient and robust seismic source designed for acquisition in transit zones, shallow water, and waterlogged areas. It is a great solution for surveys in transit areas. The seismic pulse is generated by a shot of nail gun cartridges, producing a very high energy release (up to 0.8 kJ). Such a source provides a bandwidth typically higher than that of a sledgehammer and other engineering sources available on the market. It is easy-to-operate, made from a durable and lightweight titanium alloy that allows it to be robust, ergonomic, rugged and highly-reliable.
